What is the return policy?
Refund & Return Policy
We want you to love your purchase from North Star Journals. If there’s an issue with your order, please review the policy below and contact us. We’re happy to help.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your package.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may ask for photos of the damage and the original packaging. Once reviewed, we will work with you to provide a replacement or refund when appropriate.
Returns
All items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. They must be in unused condition and returned with the original packaging intact.
To start a return, please contact us first so we can provide return instructions. Returns sent without contacting us in advance may not be processed.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you if your refund is approved. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow several business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, damage, or missing packaging.

When will my order ship after purchasing?
Processing takes 1-3 business days, Monday through Friday, not including holidays. Shipping times vary depending on the destination. For free shipping, orders are shipped either USPS or UPS dependent on location. Please refer to our list below to find out how long your package will take to arrive.

Contiguous US: 2-5 business days
Non-Contiguous US (PR, HI, AK): 4-8 business days
Faster shipping is available for an additional fee.
How is my shipping cost calculated?
Your shipping cost is calculated based on your shipping address, the shipping method chosen, and the weight of your order at checkout.
What is the shipping policy? (International customers)
When will my order ship after purchasing?
Processing takes 1-3 business days, Monday through Friday, not including holidays. Shipping times vary depending on the destination. Please note that international orders are not eligible for free shipping, and shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location.
International customers are also responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply once the package arrives in your country. These fees are determined by your local customs office and are not included in your order total. Please refer to our list below to find out how long your package will take to arrive.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar: 10-16 business days
Chile: 10-16 business days
Other International: 10-20 business days
Tracking is only available on Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, UAE, and UK orders. We can not track other international packages.
How is my shipping cost calculated?
Your shipping cost is calculated based on your shipping address, the shipping method chosen, and the weight of your order at checkout.
What if my package is lost?
If your tracking information shows that your package has not been delivered and appears to be lost in transit, please contact us and we will do our best to help you investigate the issue with the carrier.
Once an order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you believe your package was stolen after delivery, we recommend contacting the carrier directly and checking with your local post office or building management.
If a package is confirmed as lost by the carrier, we will work with you to determine the best next steps, which may include a replacement or refund when appropriate.
Can I cancel my order after I've placed it?
We understand that mistakes happen. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us within one hour of placing your order, and we’ll do our best to cancel it before it is processed or shipped.
Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be canceled. In that case, you may follow our return policy after the item is delivered.
